Who is responsible

The waitlist is operated from the European Union. For any question about your data, contact us at contact@oxytozen.com.

What we collect, and why

We collect only what a feature needs:

• First name, to address you warmly in our messages.
• Email, to send the confirmation and to let you know when your area opens.
• Gender, used only to keep the founding group balanced. It is never shown publicly.
• Age range (not your exact birth date), to understand the makeup of the group.
• Area, to know which cross-border zone you would join.
• If you pick "Somewhere else" as your area, the optional town or area you type, so we know where out-of-area interest comes from and can tell you if we expand there.

We do not collect anything beyond this, and we never buy or sell data.

Consent and confirmation

We act on your explicit consent, given when you check the box at signup. We then email you a link to confirm the address is really yours (double opt-in). Until you confirm, you are not on the list.

Where it is stored

Your data is hosted in the European Union (France). We use Scaleway for database hosting and Scaleway Transactional Email to send the confirmation and reminders. These providers act on our instructions as processors.

How long we keep it

If you never confirm, your details are deleted automatically within about a month. If you confirm, we keep your details until the app launches in your area or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to contact@oxytozen.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. The only stored preference is your chosen language, which is necessary to show the site correctly.
